Screen jumps when filter label on grid with scrollbar is clicked

SA-39481

Summary

When a user clicks on a filter label on a wide grid with a horizontal scroll bar, it is observed that the screen jumps ahead.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Click filter label on a wide grid with scroll bar.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules

The labels in the filter popover are generated for attributes that point to IDs like pySelected<n>.

If the grid contains a column with any editable control bound to pySelected then the ID generated for the editable control will also have IDs in the form of pySelected<n>.

Thus, clicking the filter labels takes the focus to the editable control causing the screen to jump ahead.

Resolution

Apply HFix-34230.
