Screen is opening in pop up instead of New tab.

Summary
When we open a screen by a link it opens in new window instead of new tab.
Error Messages
It is opening in a pop up instead of a window.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Login in user portal.
2. click in any link and view the result.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in customer application code/rules.
Customer has enabled the compatibility view settings for intranet sites.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local change:
1. Delete Browser history.
2. Click on Tool->Compatibility View Setting->
3. Uncheck “Display internet Sites in Compatibility view.
4. Launch the URL.
Worked. Customer confirmed closure.
