Screen width issue in Internet Explorer



In one screen in modal dialog, text is not word-wrapped properly due to which, modal dialog width is more in Internet Explorer compared to Chrome browser.
In another page, screen width is more in Internet Explorer compared to Chrome browser.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In Navigation harness, in one screen add custom modal template.
2. Set width to 200px in the embedded section in modal dialog.
3. In next screen, configure large content in the page .

Root Cause

A software use or operation error.

User has configured custom template,harness and set custom width in embedded section rule:


Add below style in stylesheet-

For the harness content:

.harnessContent table.containerBody{ // added this style
width:100% !important;


and for modal dialog section, modified below styleclass(used in presentation tab):

.WidthFixed {
width: 200px !important; // added !important to existing styleclass
