Scroll bar missing with 1920 x 1080 resolution



Scrollbar does not display when the screen is viewed on a high resolution system (such as, 1920 x 1080). Hence unable to read the entire content.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Interaction portal.
  2. Select any work object from the home screen. The work object opens in a new tab.
  3. View the home page. The screen resizes. The work object page is displayed without the scroll bar.

Root Cause

A backwards compatibility defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
This issue does not occur at the base application. It occurs from the CPMPortalRecents section which is common to Customer Service applications (such as, Customer Service for Financial Services (CSFS), Customer Service for Healthcare (CSHC)) specific to versions prior to Customer Process Manager (CPM) 7.3.


Perform the following local-change:

In the CSHomeAreaResizer section, modify the resizeHomeTab() function's IF condition where the height is calculated incorrectly.

From if((".CPMInteractionHeader").length > 0) to if($(".CPMInteractionHeader").length > 0)
