Scroll bar is missing when a grid is placed within a grid

Summary



When user place a grid within another grid scrollbar is missing for the grid placed inside which has a list of about 100 items, due to the missing scroll bar user is able to view only about 8 items.

When they remove the grid and giving normal fields in the section, user is able to see the scroll bar.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure grid.
  2. Configure section within the grid.
  3. In this section add another grid.
     


Root Cause



Out-of-the-box (OOTB) CSS was being overridden in user's application.

Resolution



Perform the below changes in userworkform.

As the below change is common throughout the grids applied below css in userworkform:

#gridLayoutWrapper{
overflow-y:auto;
}

In another issue user did not want grid's column labels to be visible.

For that unchecked the "Make header" option in grid's header row configuration as below:
