Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Save as the searchResults section to your application specific class/ruleset.
2. Perform Save as of D_pyWorkSearch to your application specific ruleset.
3. Create an instance of Data-Custom-SearchProperties for the class in which the property should list in the search results.
4. Enable "Custom Search" from the search landing page.

Root Cause

User did not perform Save As of "D_pyWorkSearchPreferences" data page which is also responsible for the results.

The data page loads the data using a data transform "pySetSearchDefaults" that has "pySearchReportClass" as Work- in Out-of-the-box (OOTB) rule.

In order to fetch the results from the application specific class, Save As of both the data page and the corresponding data transform are to be done.

Resolution

Perform save as of data page "D_pyWorkSearchPreferences" and the corresponding load data transform "pySetSearchDefaults" to the application ruleset, which automatically points "pySearchReportClass" to the ruleset specific application:
