Search functionality is not working

Summary
When using the FindWorkGadget work gadget thrice consecutively on the same work object, the screen freezes and the busy indicator displays. This occurs in the Internet Explorer 11 browser.

Steps to Reproduce
- Launch the application and log in with any user.
- Search for a work item using the Item ID. The work item opens if it is present.
- Search for the same work item using the Item ID. The work item opens and a popup displays. Select Yes on the popup window. This refreshes the browser and the work item.
- Search for the same work item again by the Item ID. The work item opens. However, the screen hangs.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The deprecated control, FindWorkGadget, was used.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
As a local-change, use the pyFindWorkGadget control instead of the FindWorkGadget control.
