Search not performed on attachments included in articles

Summary



On enabling the Attachments indexing, the Attachment content search does not work for Knowledge Management (KM) articles. This works for work objects but not for KM articles.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the KM portal, create Knowledge content with an attachment.
  2. In the Interaction portal, search for words from the KM content attachment.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution



Apply HFix-56908 and reindex the work objects.
