Summary

When user clicks the “Add New email address” for the first time the section is not being refreshed and does not show step 4.

If user click it for second time then it is refreshed. 

The functionality is behaving as expected in Pega 7.1.8. That is, the section refreshes when user click it for first time. 

User updated from Pega 7.1.8 (Issue was not faced in Pega 7.1.8) to Pega 7.2.1.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the assignment and click on Add new Email address, for the first time, the below section wont refresh, if you click it second time, it will refresh the below section

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules :

Refresh section is not invoking when clicking on radio button for the first time.

Resolution

Issue is due to invalid way of accessing first element and this triggers JS error.

​Hence refresh section is not invoking. These changes are processed in HFix-29730.
