Section rule not accepting clipboard property as parameter

Summary



Error while saving a Harness or section rule having a parameterized section included in it for which the parameter passed is of type property.


Error Messages



Syntax error on token: ".", delete this token


Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a section or harness.
2. Pass a parameter to the harness or section through the parameterized section.

Root Cause



This is currently the expected behavior. It is not possible to pass a property value as a parameter to any SECTION or HARNESS.

Resolution



The issue is resolved with the following local-change:

Add the parameter into a data page and refer the property from data page to section or harness.
