Summary

The Select button displays if a dropdown has an OnChange event configured with accessibility enabled. This was to prevent users from triggering unnecessary OnChange events on click of the down arrow. 

However, post update to Pega 7.3.1, the Select button does not display.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Update from Pega 7.2.2 to Pega 7.3.1
2. Create an application with accessibility enabled
3. Use a dropdown control in the section
4. Run the case The 'Select' button beside the dropdown field does not display

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution

Apply HFix-45131.
