Summary
User is trying to import the zip file for the frameworks/applications that they received in the media distribution. While trying to import the file, they get the following error:

pyArchiveType:The selected archive is invalid or of an unknown type. Please validate archive type or select another file to import.
Steps to Reproduce
Import application zip file on Pega 7.1.9
Root Cause
A software use or operation error. User is trying to import the entire framework media file (eg., 114845_IIF716.zip, 114910_PUI714.zip, 114811_OBFS7_12.zip) instead of the application archive (RAP) files that are found within the media.
Resolution
Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:
The 114845_IIF716.zip file is the complete media for the IIF framework. You need to unzip that file and then follow the instructions in the installation guide which will point you to the correct RAP file within the media to import. Here is the link to the 7.1.6 installation guide for this framework. The other frameworks that you are trying to import will also have installation guides for how to install them.
