Send emails on the test offer fails for SeedList

Summary



User is trying to send emails in NBAM 7.11 ML1 by selecting the customer base from the SeedList and on performing the test, observes the error message "Recipient's email address is empty".

Error Messages



"Recipient's email address is empty"

Steps to Reproduce



1.Create a SeedList.
2.Create an Offer Flow with Send Email shape.
3.Create a Treatment and configure an email account.
4.Test the Offer Flow and select the Email Account and SeedList to send emails to the customer.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is defect/misconfiguration in the external mapping of the class being referred by the SeedList

Resolution



In the external mapping of the class that is referred by the SeedList, add a mapping for ‘EMAIL’ to ‘.pyEmail1’ and then refresh the SeedList columns. Observe that a new column with ‘EMAIL’ is added.

Also, for making the Segments to work by picking the email addresses of the customers from SPINE table (MKT_CUSTOMER), user must copy all the customer email data from EMAIL_ADDRESS to EMAIL column.
