Session sharing issue with IAC

Summary



If Pega is already running a user session and the IAC application is launched, it uses an existing session rather than creating a new session.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce



1. Keep the Developer/User session open in a browser window.
2. Launch IAC application

Root Cause



The browser associates Pega cookie based on hostname, port and context root. In this case host, port and context root are same for both Pega and IAC application.

Resolution



Allocate different DNS/Host name for Pega and IAC application to resolve this issue.
