Sessions redirected to login screen in Pega 7.1.9

Summary
In Pega 7.1.9 Project Management Framework (PMF), timed-out sessions are redirected to a login screen which does not have styling.
Error Messages
No error message are found in the logs, tracer or with fiddler.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Login to PMF production <URL>.
2. Open a work item of any kind.
3. Leave your session open overnight. The next morning try to use your session by clicking a link on the dashboard or searching for an item.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules in the area of passivation based on database as storage.
Resolution
This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Pega 7.1.11.
