Severe performance issues in dev environment
SA-41492
Summary
After adjusting the application stack, the system experienced general slowness.
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
Adjust the application structure.
Root Cause
A software use or operation error where testing was being performed shortly after the application structure was altered, so rule assembly and initial caching related processing were occurring. Subsequent testing showed significant performance improvement after the initial rule assembly and caching related tasks were complete.
Resolution
Initial rule assembly and caching will occur every time the application structure is adjusted. In scenarios where initial rule assembly and caching is expected to occur, the Static Assembler tool can be used to mitigate some of the performance impact to the initial application users.
