'Show all' option on grid filter behaves incorrectly

SA-9289

Summary

User launches out of the box(OOTB) NBAA portal. After specifying a customer id, a 'Negotiation Offer' is started'. A screen with several intents to be performed is shown. User selects 'Customer Treatment' intent. A screen with several tabs is shown. One of the tab shows the plans to offer for customer. User selects a specific plan from grid and then opens the filter for first column. The filter pop-up gives an option that says 'Show all'. When user selects that option, empty rows are added in the grid.

Error Messages

No error messages.

Steps to Reproduce

a) Create a custom intent to be offered to customer.
b) On launch of this intent, few tabs should be shown.
c) Select some entries in first tab and then move to next tab.
d) In next tab, select some options and click the column filter. Select 'Show all' option from the filter.
e) It is observed that empty rows are added to the grid.

Root Cause

Each of the tabs is configured with a different list view rule to show data. All the list views use the same content page. Since first tab had more entries, when a 'Show All' action is done on other tab, the empty records came up. OOTB listviews use unique pages for different listviews and thus the issue with OOTB 'NBAAUser' operator is not observed.

The reason we should have unique pages for different list views is to enable/allow users make selection from various tabs, when the records have a radio button. If we use a radio button in grids, it won't be possible to select entries from different tabs if the page names are same. Thus each list view should have a unique page name associated with it.

Resolution

The listview rule is modified to have a different page name and that helped the issue to get resolved.
