Summary

After timeout when submitting on flow action button an error message displayed in the screen "No stream to display".

"No stream to display" message on screen.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Load Pega inside Internet Application Composer (IAC) screen.
2. Click on a link to create a case and go to a flow action.
3. Wait till timeout out and click on Submit
4. Instead of the next screen a message displayed saying "No Stream to display".

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules: the required parameters are passed in URL post(or form) data instead of query parameters.  

Before SAML redirection (after timeout), SAML layer only preserve URL query parameters, not URL post data.

After SAML re-authentication, FinishAssignment activity needs actionName and purpose parameters to complete but SAML not restoring the required parameters. 

Resolution

An enhancement request, FDBK-25303, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management.
