Slow performance while performing Search operation

Summary
User is facing below issues:
Issue 1: When searching for results and fetching it from Database. It is taking lot of time to fetch the results and display on the current screen.
As user proceeds to later environments the wait time is gradually increasing.
Issue 2: When user clicks on Checkbox to select or deselect an item refresh issue is observed.

Steps to Reproduce
1.On click(event) of Search, activity with two refresh sections gets triggered.
2. In activity, using RDB-list Stored Procedure is getting called and results are fetched through Obj-browse.
Root Cause
An issue in the custom application database tables where indexes on columns are not created and querying the data by using those columns.
This is time consuming and impacts performance.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Create the indexes on columns which used for querying, so that query result will be quick and increases the performance.
