Slow performance while saving rules in Designer Studio

Summary
Saving a rule via developer portal is taking unusually longer and issue is consistent.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open a rule in designer studio.
- Click save and notice the time taken for saving the rule.
Root Cause
The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. There is a PEGA0020 alert for each rule save.
Resolution
When not using PMF framework, follow these steps:
1. Go to Designer Studio> Application menu > 'Integration & Security' tab.
2. Under 'Project Management' , clear 'Enable project management'.
