SOAP Service unable to parse header after upgrade to Pega 7.1.7

Summary



After upgrade from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to Pega 7.1.7, SOAP Service seem to have issues parsing the request header. Header properties were missing in the Clipboard page after parsing the SOAP message.

Error Messages



No error message. Header parameters were not available in the Clipboard.

Steps to Reproduce



Run SOAP simulator.

Root Cause



This has been identified as an issue in Pega 7.1.7. Parsing was failing when rule mapping were applied to the root node of Parse XML.


Resolution



Local change has been suggested - set Dynamic System Setting Pega-IntegrationEngine.SwitchToOldAssembler to true.

This issue will be resolved in Pega 7.1.8.
