Report definition sorting doesn’t work for columns in list, this list has been drilled down from a summary report.

Error Messages

2016-10-19 13:28:19,386 [ttp-apr-8282-exec-28] [TABTHREAD1] [ ] [ PegaRULES:07.10] (nuSortAction._baseclass.Action) ERROR   - pzGridHeaderMenuContextPage is null.

Steps to Reproduce

(Open a list type report definition that has records.)


(Summarize the report on a column)


(Then drill down to a list from this summarized report)


(Try to sort)


(And note that sorting fails, this is the issue.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Fixed by modifying pzgridmenusortaction activity. Page name is not resolved properly. Replace dot with underscore and use getreference.

Resolution

Apply HFix-30088. Below is the screenshot of the scenario after the hotfix is applied.
