Space issue in Row repeat layout

SA-35561

Summary

List contains more than 100 records, out of 100, it displays only few records to user using Row Repeat (Configured Width as % in layout Configuration panel).

For example, Display first record, 20th record and 99 record. There is huge space between 20th and 99th record.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Page list with 100 records.
  2. Display only few records (using When condition based on the values in the page list) instead of all records using Row repeat (Configured Width as % in layout Configuration panel).

Root Cause

User configured the visibility when condition on each and every column.

The column was getting invisible but the respective rows are being generated in Data Object Model (DOM) due to which user was seeing space being occupied by table's TRs.

Resolution

Perform the following steps:
  1. At the layout level, include "Body visible when" option.
  2. Place the required when condition in this and the TRs do not loading with respect to the visibility condition, hence there was no space occupied in between invisible rows.
