Special characters are HTML encoded in List-to-List copy

Summary



In the List-to-List control, whenever any special characters (for example: "(),<>,?") exist in the field content and a list item is copied, the special characters are changed to a HTML encoded value. For example, the left parenthesis character gets converted to '&#40', and the right parenthesis gets converted to '&#41'.

Steps to Reproduce



In the List-to-List control, copy content with special characters from the left to the right to observe the reported behaviour.

Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

Resolution



This issue is resolved by HFix-3137.
