Root Cause

The CSS class is different when in collapsed state and different when in expanded state.

This is a an expected behavior of Pega UI. This is designed to perform a general use-case. Suppose, in a use case if the the styles has to be different in collapsed and expanded state then, not changing the CSS class would unable us to meet the requirements.

Pega UI appends "Expanded" to the CSS class name. Suppose, if class name was "standard_red", so once user expands the CSS class changes to "standard_redExpanded". This provides better application flexibility in design time.

Therefore, in such case one can use UI Tools to identify the correct CSS class and apply the changes to UserWorkForm or Skin.

( or )

Add a new custom CSS file to meet the requirement.
