SpellChecker Incorrect Suggestions

Summary

Spell checker does not display suggestions for German words.

Steps to Reproduce

Import the German Language Pack.
Create a section which includes the Rich Text Editor (RTE).
In the Operator ID, change the locale to German.
Type text in German (for example, Kunderummer). Suggestions which displayed are incorrect.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The suggestions are retrieved from a binary file which is a dictionary file named 'sscegn2.clx' which is a third-party file. In the Pega platform, this file is included directly. Hence, unable to add or remove words in or from this binary file.

RESOLUTI ON

Perform the following local-change:

For the Spell Checker properties to display, refresh the SpellChecker session for that particular locale.
Perform the following to the system,

(i). Instead of adding a new 'tlx' file in the Supplemental category, update the User file with the new values that are required.

(ii). Run the Reload activity which is in 'Data-SpellChecker-Properties' class with a specific locale (de_DE) to reload the session.
