Spinner does not display on button Wait condition Flow Action

Summary

When a Button action is configured with a Perform action and the flow action takes more than two seconds to run, the Busy Indicator icon does not display.

Steps to Reproduce

In the flow, on a particular assignment configure two connectors.
Configure the default flow action with a section with a button.
OnClick configure the Perform action to execute the other flow action.
Configure the optional flow action with a Wait (such that the action waits for more than two seconds) .
Run the flow.
Click the button.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Add below script in the UserWorkForm rule:

}, 0);
}
</script>
Add the 'Run Script' action with the 'showBusyIndicator' Function Name onClick of the button.
