Error Messages

com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlIntegrityConstraintViolationException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-803, SQLSTATE=23505, SQLERRMC=1;FSCM_LASTTASK, DRIVER=3.61.75 is seen in Wily monitoring log file but the same does not appear in Pega Rules log file and the following update sql statement is successfull.

Steps to Reproduce

Update an existing Work object and monitor the wily tool for the db operations. There will be an insert
SQL to the work table that fails with 'SqlIntegrityConstraintViolationException' with no trace of this error in PegaRULES log file, followed by an update SQL that succeeds.

Root Cause

The observed behavior(tries for the SQL 'insert', if SQL 'insert' fails, then PRPC tries 'update') will be seen in all the Obj-Save operations for PRPC.

Resolution

The observed behavior(tries for the SQL 'insert', if SQL 'insert' fails, then PRPC tries 'update') will be seen in all the Obj-Save operations for PRPC; Obj-Save operation uses the PRPC database layer. Even External table is updated with Obj-Save, this behavior would be noticed. This behavior is expected and this implementation should not affect any of the PRPC functionalities & can be safely ignored.
