Summary



Ugrading from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.1.9 fails


Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce



Run upgrade script.

Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. From the error snippet its clear that copying of PRPC_Rules.jar to target system tool close to 1 hour. IO and Socket exception due to the network latency between DB and the system where upgrade script is being executed from. 

Resolution



Make the following change to the operating environment: Run the upgrade script from the same intranet or system where DB is installed.
