Startup issue after installing Pega 7.1.7 on WAS 8.5.5



After installing Pega 7.1.7 on WAS / Windows 2012 with Microsoft SQL 2012, errors are occurring.

Error Messages

The server cannot use the error page specified for your application to handle the Original Exception printed below.

Original Exception:
Error Message: SRVE0190E: File not found: /PRServlet
Error Code: 404
Target Servlet:
Error Stack: SRVE0190E: File not found: /PRServlet

Steps to Reproduce

Install Pega 7.1.7 on WAS with MSSQL SERVER 2012

Root Cause

The root cause of this error is due to the fact that installer assigned 'prweb' as the context root for prhelp.war and hence prevented prweb.war to be deployed correctly.


This issue is resolved through the following Local-change:

Corrected the context root for prhelp.war from 'prweb' to 'prhelp'.
