State codes similar to SQL keywords display in lower case

Summary



The state codes which are similar to SQL keywords display in lower case. 
For example, 'IN' which is a state code of Indiana displays as 'in'. 'OR', which is the state code of Oregon displays as 'or'.

This occurs in column display in reports and in the grid filters window.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Open a report definition
  3. Configure a report which fetches US state codes
  4. Run the report


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

There are two existing field values in the Pega AppDefinition ruleset for IN and OR keywords. The translated values for these are 'in' and 'or' respectively.



Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
  1. Create two new field values in the application layer for IN and OR keywords for the pyCaption fields
  2. Enter the translated values as IN and OR
