"Stop running this script?" displayed when filtering list view

User opens a ListView and applies filter constraints and receives an IE alert.

Error Messages

"Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer might become unresponsive."

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open workuser portal
2. Run the desired list view
3. Apply filter conditions.

Root Cause

The generated URL for the report was very long because a URL length reached 19,000 characters. This caused the PRPC safeURL encoding functionality to throw the IE error.

There are 3 possible solutions to this problem:

1. Move from https:// --> http://
2. Increase the registry settings so that alert can be delayed.
3. Reduce the parameter length of his custom parameter.

Developers moved this lengthy parameter to a clipboard page rather than placing the content on the parameter page. This ensured that the parameter was not a part of the URL.
