Subcases do not open in a new tab

Summary



In the Back Office portal for Pega Customer Service for Insurance 7.22 application, all the subcases of any parent case open in the same tab.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Back Office portal.
  2. Open the parent case (P-1) from a work list.
  3. Open the subcases (S-1 and S-2) of the parent case. All the subcases open in the same tab replacing the previous content.


Root Cause



This behavior is as per Pega product design.


Resolution



Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior for the tab replacement functionality:

When the second subcase is opened, it replaces the first subcase tab content.
