Summary view with fixed header causes IE 11 to freeze
Summary views configured with a fixed header and a drilldown report causes IE 11 to freeze, when trying to scroll through the drilldown report.
Steps to Reproduce
1) Create a SummaryView report with Fixed Headers enabled on the content tab.
2) Run the report in IE 11 and obtain drilldown report.
3) In the drilldown report, try to scroll down.
The root cause of this problem is defect or misconfiguration in the PRPC operating environment.
Certain features of summary views and list views do not work with IE 10 or IE 11, as the functionality that was used to implement those features is no longer supported by those versions of IE.
The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
If end users are using IE 10 or IE 11 to access PRPC 5.x or 6.x, certain features of summary views and list views for example fixed headers, does not work, and causes errors that may hang the browser session.
Installing compatibility hotfixes do not address the issue either.
In this particular case, to get past the issue, the developer must disable fixed headers.
