Survey stage skipped when executing a Survey in a case



In a case life cycle, a Survey step is added for a stage. A second stage is added where a Review step is included. On creating a case and executing it, the Question page of the Survey is skipped and the control directly moves to the Review stage.

Root Cause

This behavior is as per Pega product design.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

When the Survey smart shape is used in a stage, the Survey internally used a Create case smart shape.

Alternatively, use the pyAdministerSurvey flow on an embedded page to achieve this functionality.
