Syntax error encountered when running script



An error occurs when script is run on Solaris 10 to upgrade PRPC 5.5 to Pega 7.1.8.

Error Messages

syntax error at line **Line Number**: `j=$' unexpected

Steps to Reproduce

Execute the script on Solaris 10.

Root Cause

The script was invoked by the wrong command interpreter.


Invoke the script explicitly through bash. For example, '/bin/bash'
