Syntax error encountered when running upgrade.sh script

Summary



An error occurs when upgrade.sh script is run on Solaris 10 to upgrade PRPC 5.5 to Pega 7.1.8.

Error Messages



syntax error at line **Line Number**: `j=$' unexpected
 

Steps to Reproduce



Execute the upgrade.sh script on Solaris 10.

Root Cause



The script was invoked by the wrong command interpreter.

Resolution



Invoke the script explicitly through bash. For example, '/bin/bash upgrade.sh'
