System adds quotes to the data automatically in outbound table

The source data in the batchout table is comma delimited, without quotes.

When the data is written into the outbound table, system adds the double quotes to the data automatically.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a strategy and set a value of a property with comma.
2. Create an outbound table and map the data from that property.
3. Update the offer to write the results in to the outbound table.
4. Run the campaign and check the results in Batchout table and outbound table. Batchout table do not have the double quotes. But outbound table has it.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. Due to how the code was developed as part of part of the Pega Marketing 7.12 release, it is not possible to provide a simple code change to address this.

Some significant changes are required to address this. Which is why the functionality was not changed until we undertook a significant re-write of the code as part of the Pega 7.22 release.

An alternate approach would be trim out quotes using SQL like below or any other better approach users can think off.

For example: select <MyDBColumn>, substring(<MyDBColumn>,2, length(<MyDBColumn>)-2) from <TableName>

This issue will be addressed in PegaMarketing 7.2.2 release.
