Summary
System administrators have notes system wide slowness, and increasing time spent in Garbage Collection (GC) as memory use climbs.
Error Messages
PEGA0028 alerts are shown in the PegaRULES-ALERT log. No OutOfMemory errors detected.
Steps to Reproduce
Not applicable
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.
A change to a prconfig setting "timeout/browser" from 1200 seconds to 12000 seconds, had a side effect of leaving many more expired requestors in memory, consuming heap space.
Resolution
Make the following change to the operating environment:
Revert change to set timeout or browser back to 1200 (seconds).
