Systems using D-Node cannot be restarted simultaneously

Summary



When large Pega clusters, running decisioning nodes, are restarted simultaneously, some nodes fail to join the cluster.
To have the nodes join correctly, they need to be started sequentially.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Have a D-Node cluster with more than 6 nodes
2. Restart all nodes together


Root Cause

The issue is caused by problems in the D-Node bootstrap process.


Resolution



Apply HFix-25214
This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a later Pega release.
