Tab Names are not being set reliably

Summary



When opening an item who's tab name is set by a declare expression, the name does not display correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a harness.
  2. Use a Harness action on a button to open a tab with a data object displayed in a custom harness view.
  3. In the Harness Action, set a page name and set a property to display the Tab Name. The property should be set through a declare expression.
  4. Run and click the button to open the object in a new harness and see the tab name does not display properly.
 

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Perform the following local-change: 
Instead of using a Declare Expression to generate the unique Tab Name, use a Data Transform to populate the property value.
