Table takes more than 40 seconds to render in Internet Explorer

SA-62447

Summary

The table takes more than 40 seconds to render when it has progressive pagination which displays 25 records at a time. This occurs when using the Internet Explorer browser.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Configure a table with more than 25 columns with a report definition as a source
  3. Set progressive pagination in the table
  4. Embed sections in every column and run the flow using Internet Explorer

Root Cause

Ever column in a table should not have an embedded section. Each section adds to the markup that has to be rendered by the browser.
Poor performance in Internet Explorer is due to progressive pagination as markup for sections is generated multiple times.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Change the pagination type from 'progressive' to 'Page 1, 2, 3..'.
