Table UI control headings overlap in Internet Explorer

Summary



A list is configured using a responsive Table UI control. A minimum width is set for each table column such that the column headings display in a single row. However, the headings overlap in the Internet Explorer browser.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use the table UI control and make it responsive
  2. Set the width for the columns. Check the User portal in Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. In the Internet Explorer browser, the headings overlap.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code  or rules.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change: 
  1. In the Table layout properties, check the 'Optimize code' checkbox.
  2. If the Table layout is enclosed in a Dynamic layout, change the Dynamic layout mode to 'Legacy code' from 'Optimized code'.
