Summary
Application is taking long time during DB execution with Pega 7.1.8.

Steps To Reproduce
1. Create Linked Work Object (LWO) and input data.
2. Select all result products.
3. Select all languages.
4. Finalize creation.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment, user was connecting to external DB on remote location and hence faced connection timed out. However this happened intermittently.
Resolution
Make the following change to the operating environment:
Revise the connection pool settings as follows,
Increase maxActive, maxIdle and maxAge values in the datasource setting on server.
