TextArea in ReadOnlymode doesnot have scroll & expandable option

pxTextArea in read-only mode does not have functionality to restrict no of rows when compared to earlier TextAreaSmall.

Earlier PRPC 5.4 SP2 had TextAreaSmall with which the now of rows for the field was constrained to two and a scrollbar would turn up to go through whole of this field. Both in editable and read-only modes.

In Pega 7.1.9 pxTextArea control (replacement for TextAreaSmall deprecated control) doesn't have functionality to restrict rows of field in read-only mode.
