Summary



Users are sporadically getting an error message on clicking the buttons in Next-Best-Action Advisor (NBAA) portal. This behavior is observed only in Internet Explorer 11.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch NBAA portal.
  2. Select few offers.
  3. Click Save, No-Save, or Maybe later button.

Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems' code or rules:
In Internet Explorer, post action returns <button>, resulting in the exception. Pega has updated the PostValue method of pzpega_ui_events.js script to address the issue. The modified code will iterate over the target element in case it is a <button> to get <div> to address the issue.


Resolution



Apply HFix-30768.
