Summary

Developer has created a list view with datetime type property. Then used date in the Export Format option but still time is also getting exported along with date when exporting to Excel.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create list view where one of the properties is of datetime type. 
2. Use date in the Export Format option. 
3. Export to Excel and see time also exported along with the date.

Root Cause

As long as you are using a datetime type property Excel will add the default time value along with the date vaule.

Resolution

Using date type property will solve the issue.
