Topology Settings for DSM cannot be enabled



The DSM Batch Topology landing page instance cannot be Saved.

Steps to Reproduce

You try to Enable the Topology instance at the Landing Page.

Root Cause

The 'ProcessBatchJob' agent is not in the expected rule set.


  1. Delete the 'ProcessBatchJob' agent  from the existing rule set.
  2. Create an agent for the application rule set [The rule set which contains the main SR class and is un-locked]
  3. Create the 'ProcessBatchJob' agent to the above and enable it.
  4. Check if the corresponding Agent schedule for the node has been created and the 'ProcessBatchJob' agent is seen running in SMA.
