Unable to cancel column population job

Unable to cancel Job ID with status In- Progress or new from Column Population wizard with Pega 7.1.7.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Follow steps as per this link:

2. On clicking Cancel OK button to confirm is not appearing but screen refreshes and Job ID is still present with In-Progress status.
Root Cause
pzCancelOptimizationJob navigation rule XML is corrupted so the data-click not getting generated for anchor element.
Resolution
Apply HFix-34501.
