Unable to configure a sub-report in a main report with a join

SA-27441

Summary

User is trying to map a sub-report from Assign-Worklist table to Work- class but is unable to add a join condition with Assign-.pxRefObjectInsKey to Work-.pzInsKey.

Error Messages

Filter Value:
** An invalid value '.pzInsKey' has been entered in a join condition for subreport

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a report in Work- class.
  2. Create a report in Assign-Worklist class.
  3. Map the Assign-Worklist report in Work- report as a sub-report and add a join condition with Assign-.pxRefObjectInsKey to Work-.pzInsKey.

Root Cause

An issue in the Work- report definition rule where user tried to use multiple alias names for reference. The XML of the rule got corrupted and contains the old alias name causing a duplicate.

Resolution

Save the report definition rule with a different name and keep each alias name distinct.
