Unable to create Case types in a Branch

SA-51101

Summary

Unable to create a Case type in a Branch.

Error Messages

RuleSet version - No unlocked RuleSet Version is available to create or update Rule-Obj-Class Org-Work-ClassName

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Lock the application rulesets.
  2. Add a Branch to the application.
  3. Open the Cases explorer and click ‘Add a case type’.
  4. Add a new Case type in the Branch.

Root Cause

This issue was determined to be a product enhancement request.

Resolution

To add the case type to the branch, an open ruleset version must exist in the application. The rules are saved in to the branch ruleset. An enhancement request, FDBK-24564, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management to remove this limitation in a future release.
